Damaged & Defective Items Policy

At Slayers Globe, every piece of jewelry undergoes a thorough quality inspection before it is shipped. If your order arrives damaged, defective, or incorrect, we are committed to resolving the issue promptly while protecting our customers and business from fraudulent claims.

1. Reporting a Damaged or Defective Item

You must notify our Customer Support team within 48 hours of the delivery date if you receive a damaged, defective, or incorrect item.

Claims submitted after this period may not be eligible for review unless otherwise required by applicable consumer protection laws.


2. Required Evidence

To help us investigate your claim, please provide the following:

  • Your order number.

  • Clear photographs of:

    • The damaged or defective item.

    • The front and back of the jewelry.

    • The original product packaging.

    • The shipping label.

  • A clear description of the issue.

  • An uninterrupted unboxing video showing the sealed package being opened. This is strongly recommended and may be required for high-value orders or where additional verification is necessary.

Failure to provide sufficient evidence may result in your claim being declined.


3. Inspection & Verification

All claims are carefully reviewed by our Quality Assurance team.

During the review process, we may request additional photographs, videos, or other information before reaching a final decision.

Customers must retain the damaged item and all original packaging until the claim has been fully resolved.

Please do not dispose of the product or packaging unless instructed by Slayers Globe.


4. Eligible Claims

This policy applies only if:

  • The item arrived physically damaged during transit.

  • The item has a verified manufacturing defect.


5. Items Not Covered

The following situations are not considered manufacturing defects and are not eligible for replacement or refund:

  • Damage occurring after delivery.

  • Normal wear and tear.

  • Scratches, dents, tarnishing, discoloration, or damage caused by improper use, exposure to chemicals, perfumes, lotions, cosmetics, water, sweat, or improper storage.

  • Accidental or intentional damage.

  • Items that have been resized, repaired, modified, or altered by anyone other than Slayers Globe.

  • Minor variations in color, finish, texture, engraving, or measurements resulting from photography, lighting, monitor settings, or handcrafted production.

  • Claims submitted without sufficient supporting evidence.


6. Resolution

If, after verification, your claim is approved, Slayers Globe will provide one of the following remedies, depending on product availability and the nature of the issue:

  • A replacement of the damaged or defective item.

  • A refund to the original payment method if a replacement is unavailable.

Approved refunds will be processed to the original payment method used at checkout.


7. Returns for Approved Claims

If a return is required:

  • Customers must wait for return authorization before sending any item.

  • Returns sent without prior authorization may be refused.

  • Return instructions will be provided by our Customer Support team.

  • Returned items must be unused, unworn, and include all original packaging unless the damage prevents this.


8. Return Shipping

For approved damaged or defective item claims, Slayers Globe will determine whether a return is required.

If a return is requested, customers must follow the return instructions provided by our Customer Support team.

If the damage or defect is confirmed to be the result of a manufacturing defect or shipping damage, Slayers Globe will cover the reasonable cost of return shipping where required.

Items returned without prior authorization may be refused.


9. Fraud Prevention

To protect our customers and business from fraudulent activity:

  • Every claim is subject to investigation.

  • Shipping carrier records, package weight, delivery confirmation, tracking information, and all submitted evidence may be reviewed.

  • Slayers Globe reserves the right to request additional photographs, videos, or verification before approving any claim.

  • Slayers Globe reserves the right to deny any claim where the evidence provided is incomplete, inconsistent, altered, or does not reasonably support the reported issue.

  • Claims involving false statements, altered evidence, or fraudulent activity will be denied.

  • Fraudulent claims may result in order cancellation, refusal of future service, and reporting to payment processors or relevant authorities where permitted by applicable law.


10. Limitation of Liability

Slayers Globe shall not be liable for any damage resulting from misuse, negligence, accidental impact, improper care, unauthorized repairs, modifications, or failure to follow our recommended jewelry care instructions.


11. Consumer Rights

Nothing in this policy limits or excludes any statutory consumer rights that apply under the laws of the country or region in which the customer resides.


12. Policy Updates

Slayers Globe reserves the right to modify or update this policy at any time without prior notice. Any changes will become effective upon publication on our website and will apply to orders placed after the updated policy is published.
